1.Quickly clean up liquids and spills to prevent the floor from swelling cupping or becoming discoloured. Remember to dry bamboo flooring thoroughly.

2.Avoid area rugs or mats with rubber bottoms. Rubbers can cause scuffing, trap moisture and prevent bamboo flooring from being able to breathe.

3.Bamboo floor can fade a little over time. Moving rugs furniture and other covering regularly will keep the natural colour change even.

4.Keep all mats clean and dry. Be sure to check underneath often for build up of moisture or dirt.

5.Use blinds, shaded screens or curtains to filter direct sunlight and help prevent discoloration.

6.Sweep or vacuum regularly, since a build up of dirt and grit can damage the finish and surface of your new Bamboo floor. The vacuum head must be a brush or felt type. Be certain the wheels of the vacuum are clean and do not damage the finish. Do not use a vacuum with a beater bar head.

7.Remove spills promptly using a soft cloth.

8.Never mop or flood your floor with water or other products. This can severely damage the flooring.

9.Do not use oil soaps, liquid or paste wax products or other household cleaners that contain citrus, lemon, Tung oil or ammonia.

10.Do not use hard cleaning aids, such as steel wool pads, any scouring pads containing metal or scouring powders.

11.Keep pets nails trimmed and paws clean and free of dirt, gravel, grease, oil and stains.

12.Do not drag heavy objects across the floor.

13.Make certain furniture castors and floor protectors are clean and operate properly.

14.Remove high heeled shoes, spiked soles or damaged heels before walking on the floor.

15.Ensure dust, dirt, grit and pebbles to be removed by Sweep or vacuum before cleaning.

16.Avoid using steel wool, abrasive scouring pads, wet sponges, mops or cloth.

17.Immediately dry any area which has been cleaned with damp products or cleaning tools.
